JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Approach guests before they approach you and assist them with their inquiries by replying in professional manner.
  • Ensure that Watersport Center, as well as sun lounges, beach is clean and free of any debris.
  • Help F&b service on clearing used towels (if guests already left) as well as ensure that beach hut is filled with clean towels.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all water sports equipments, organised and store accordingly in the Watersport Center.
  • Do inventory of all water sport equipment on daily basis to keep track of any damaged or missing items and report directly to FOM/AFOM in written.
  • Follow up with engineering for any maintenance requests and report directly to FOM/AFOM in written.
  • Be aware of any weather changes and inform FO if any of the activities cant be done in advance.
  • Assist guests with bringing water sports equipment and make sure that it will be returned back after the activity. Maintain proper tracking forms.
  • Be able to swim independently without floating devices, and rescue guests if needed
  • Be able to work under the sun, and provide assistance out and in the sea/swimming-pool
  • In case of activity outside the island, to remind all departments involved on the preparations one day before the activity
  • On the day when outside activity is scheduled follow up on: 
  •       Arrange all equipment / food (for guests and boat staff) 
  •       Bring everything needed for the trip on the boat
  •        Pick up the guests from the Reception lobby to the jetty to start their  Experience (Cooperate and coordinate with FO Team when assistance is needed)
  • Be informed and keep your Manager informed of all matters that may affect your work, the hotel’s service or reputation.
  • Always present a clean and tidy appearance in accordance with the hotel’s grooming standards
  • Be flexible and open to changes in your job responsibilities, work area and/or roster to meet business needs
  • Be understanding, supportive, encouraging and helpful to guests as well as suppliers and your colleagues Communicate in a friendly, tactful and professional manner with guest, suppliers as well as colleagues
  • Be flexible, reliable and ensure you are at work on time according to the operations need of the resort as well as following special requests from FOM/AFOM
  • Know your role in case of emergency such as bomb threat, flood, fire etc
  • Know your role in case of emergency related to guests while joining any of the activities or experiences. Certification in water safety, First Aid and CPR are required.
  • Understand the Employee rules and regulation and comply with the standards needed
  • Handle guest complaints to the satisfaction of all parties and notifies the FOM/AFOM if assistance is required 
  • Have complete knowledge of all Experiences / Rates and guest activities around the resort.
  • Promote and sell our experiences to our guests, by meeting them regularly and interacting with them in a professional manner.
